Important Instruction for participants regarding sale of their exhibits/goods during IITF, 2011

1. This is to inform you that under section 16-A of the DVAT Act 2004, it is mandatory for all casual traders, whether they are state government ot International Participants, to obtain registration with the Trade & Taxes Department and pay the due VAT on sales made by term during IITF -10. Therfore, only those casual traders who are registered with the Department of Trade & Taxes will be allowed to sell their exhibits.

2. DVAT formats for registration with the department of Trade and Taxes are given here under for complance by all sasual traders, both national and international who would be conducting retail sales during the fair. These formats will also be distributed to all the exhibitors at the same time of issue of possession letter for their bills.

3. All casual traders, both national and international, participating in IITF-10 are advised to obtain'NOC' from the Dept. of Trade & Taxes before leaving Pragati Maidan after the conclusion of fair.
